While the war is over with Shigaraki's death, the MHA manga is not yet done.

However, the author came out and said that he did not want his story to end with the conclusion of the war. There are many things still left to be taken care of and the last thing he would want after investing so many hours in his magnum opus would be to leave plot threads untied. As such, the new generation is going to play a massive role in the upcoming chapter.

Class 2-A In Action

Class 2-A Will Be At The Center Of Attention

My Hero Academia 426: What To Expect From The Chapter (2)

In the previous chapter of My Hero Academia, fans clearly got to see that the students of Class 1A had now all moved up a class. Similarly, there were students from class 3A who had graduated and are now going to become Pro Heroes. Now, Deku and all his other classmates are going to be in Class 2A, although this is somewhat temporary, because they don't have a proper homeroom teacher yet. Given the current situation, Aizawa is going to continue as their teacher, and that is certainly reassuring, as fans are incredibly familiar with this character, and he also has a very wide fanbase. Aizawa is also attached to this class, and for as long as he can be with them, the author is likely going to keep it that way.

A world without humor has no bright future. So, a world of pluses, where everyone can spend their day smiling, is our real finishing line.

Unfortunately, in the previous chapter, Aoyama decided to leave UA. He still wants to become a Hero, but only when he feels he truly deserves it and he earns the right to be one. In his stead, Shinso joined Class 2A, and it is going to be exciting to see how things go from here onwards. Fans should see more characters taking part in regular exercises in My Hero Academia chapter 426. There are likely going to be more events, and at the same time more classes where students continue to grow in terms of power and skill.

I'll atone for my crimes and then I'll try becoming a Hero once again. But, I'll be fine. I took my friends' hands, after all! – Aoyama

Of course, given that all of them have grown tremendously over the course of the war, it does feel like there is little they can learn now that they don't know already, but, that is the job of the teachers and experience is something that some of them would still benefit from. As such, something along the lines of first-hand experience in dealing with villains, among other things, is going to be absolutely incredible for the story moving forward.

In fact, fans haven't really seen any villain activity over the course of the last chapter. As such, My Hero Academia chapter 426 would do incredibly well if it were to showcase some villains just to give fans a glimpse of society after the fall of All For One. At the same time, this would also give the new students a chance to shine once again.

The Todoroki Family Story Arc Continues

The Todoroki Family Drama Continues In My Hero Academia 426

Quite easily, the most important part of My Hero Academia chapter 426 is going to be the Todoroki Family. This family played a tremendously important role in the Final War in My Hero Academia, however, now, there are many conflicts that still need to be resolved. Of course, quite a lot of time has passed since the end of the war as well, and it is possible that Horikoshi has already resolved these conflicts. However, given that he clearly mentioned that there are plot points that he wants to tie himself in the epilogue, it is highly unlikely that is the case. Fans will likely see the Todoroki Family continue to make amends for what happened in the past. Of course, the entire blame lies with Endeavor, and this is a character who needs to make up for things, or at the very least, want to spend the rest of his life trying to do the right things.

Endeavor cannot be forgiven for what he has done, but he can spend the rest of his life trying to do right.

It appears that Endeavor is still very injured, as was seen in the previous chapter, and My Hero Academia chapter 426 will likely see him in a wheelchair. There is a massive chance that Endeavor will stop being a pro-Hero, or that he possibly can't anymore. If that is the case, it would be a proper retribution for what he did in the past, and the rest of the Todoroki family is likely going to continue from there onwards.

As for how the relationship inside the house is going to be, fans are hoping for a more lighthearted family, something that Todoroki kids would have loved to see when they were younger. Still, after all these years, at least now they can potentially be a happy family and take small steps towards a bright future.

The Mysterious Man

The Mysterious Individual Could Turn Out To Be Kurogiri

My Hero Academia chapter 425 showcased a mysterious man with black hair crying to the fans. Perhaps, this individual is going to be at the center of attention in My Hero Academia chapter 426 as well. Judging by the clothes of this individual, he appears to be a person somewhat similar to Kurogiri. Fans already know that Shirakumo was the one who was used to make Kurogiri. But, this person does not look like a Nomu at all. It looks like an actual real human, and it will be interesting to see what path the author takes from here in regards to this individual. Perhaps, this person is going to be Shirakumo, or, it could be something that no fan can predict. But, one thing that fans can be sure about is that My Hero Academia chapter 426 and the subsequent chapters are going to answer all questions pertaining to who this individual is and why he was crying in the first place.

Other than these things, fans will most likely get to enjoy small panels here and there of different characters. My Hero Academia is going to be very light-hearted from here onwards, and fans absolutely hope that the series delivers big time in regards to the many plot points that need to be wrapped up.

Unfortunately, My Hero Academia is going to be on an extended break. The reason for Horikoshi taking an extended break was not revealed to the fans, but it has likely got to do with his health. Horikoshi will be taking a 3-week break from My Hero Academia, and the series will return later this month. Until then, fans will have to sit back patiently and wait. This time would also be perfect for fans to theorize about various remaining plot points and the interesting ones that the author raised in the previous chapter.

My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia chapter 426, is set to be June 30, 2024.
