That’s the first official work with Why Human Factors completed. Really good trip offshore doing Toolbox Talk coaching! Held for both day and night shift, the coaching took place over three sessions, each focusing on a different element: Session 1 – An Introduction to Toolbox Talks. Session 2 – Stress Management: How to identify Stress (in others and yourself)Session 3 – Interacting with others and understanding group/team dynamics. Each session was fantastic, with great interaction from everyone. Those attending the sessions are what make them so successful and engaging!Thank you for allowing me to observe your TBTs and question me on how to get the best out of the theory during the one-to-one sessions.I hope you all manage to implement the theory into your TBTs, if not feel free to message me. If anyone would like similar coaching for all groups and teams of all sizes, then please message me on LinkedIn or contact me at: scott@whyhumanfactors.com #toolboxtalks #coaching #safetyfirst

Had a great time at the IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) #DPConference. Thank you to Richard Purser for asking me to present on Human Factors and Non-Technical Skills. We got some really good feedback and had some great conversations about how to introduce HF+NTS. Thank you also to Peter Krogh Jensen, Kristin Solheim and Dale Finlayson for taking me under their wing. By the looks of the group picture/s below, everyone had a good time. #humanfactorsinvestment #nontechnicalskills #learning

Thank you to all Bilfinger UK personnel for making the Toolbox Talk (TBT) training sessions so interactive and enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the amount of corridor conversations around TBT improvements and general behavioural safety. Thank you to everyone on the bp Clair Ridge for all your help. #toolboxtalks #humanfactors #coaching

Delighted to have been asked to be part of Step Change in Safety Wellbeing Group. Really looking forward to sitting down and sharing knowledge and experiences. Thank you to Step Change in Safety and Stork, a Fluor company for inviting me to their Workforce Wellbeing Partner Event last night. Some really good conversations around well being and some even better entertainment from Magic by Cameron (I am well and truly converted) and Dr David Wandless MRCP(UK) MRCGP (who expertly managed to take a serious subject and not only make light of it but get people thinking, great effort). Great to bump into some 'old' friends Russell Halkett and Simon Walker. I hope I have got the punctuation for old correct. #wellbeing #speoffshoreeurope #itsgoodtotalk
