What is Korean Banana Milk?
Korean Banana Milk is simply milk flavored with banana. What makes it "Korean" is that it's inspired by the Korean brand Binggrae who produces their own version of banana milk. Their product is so popular among Koreans and it's sold everywhere in Korean convenience stores or at H-mart. Therefore, there isn't any traditional Korean ingredients in the drink itself but it's more so the background to this recipe that makes it Korean perse.
I love this drink! It’s one of those delicious drinks that I can’t get enough of, but the price tag does hold me back from buying more. Not to mention the additives they add to the drink to preserve shelf life. So, I decided to make my own version at a fraction of the cost with real bananas, milk, vanilla and sugar. It's so easy and tasty. You won't ever want to buy from the store after making this!
Ingredients

- Large ripened banana, peeled
- White sugar: or any sweetener of your choice like honey or maple syrup
- Vanilla extract
- Milk of choice: feel free to use dairy milk or any vegan milk you enjoy
How to make Korean Banana Milk
- In a blender, add your peeled banana, sugar, vanilla extract and milk.
- Blend everything on high until you reach a very smooth liquid without any banana bits. If you’d like it super smooth, run the milk through a fine sieve before pouring into your glass.
Expert Tips
Use a spotted black banana
Bananas with black spots are sweeter and create for the best flavour.
Use a high-power blender
A high power blender will be very helpful in ensuring this milk is blended to a smooth liquid.

Korean Banana Milk. Creamy, delicious, banana flavoured milk made with just 4 ingredients! This is a spin off of the famous Korean banana milk drink sold in tetra packs, called Binggrae Korean Banana Milk. However, it’s completely all natural without any preservatives or additives! Super tasty and very easy to make if you have a blender. I share a dairy-free vegan option as well!

Ingredients
- 1 large banana ripened and peeled
- 1 tablespoon white granulated sugar or any sweetener of your choice *feel free to reduce amount of sugar to your liking
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups milk or sub with any milk of choice. If you're vegan, use whichever vegan milk you like.

Thank you so much Monica for the positive review! Glad you love it so much! I would say up to 4-5 days if stored properly in an airtight container in the fridge and you would have to give it a stir before enjoying.
