CHAPTER 06 - "Serial Disappearances in Akihabara"

Ten people have gone missing in the Akiba area. She sends the list to your Digivice. She doesn't want Matayoshi to know she asked for your help with her case, so she runs off when he calls her.

Exit to the Map and go to Akihabara to ask people about the keyword "Akihabara Disappearances". There is a new Shop, a Golemon Medal and a boy on a bench beside of it. This is your goal. He tells you he will give you the information in exchange for a girl's contact info. He describes her. She is near the spot where you came in and calls the creep a weird, scary stalker. Go back to the boy and get aggressive with him. He will tell you what you need to hear.

He gives you a URL in EDEN for Comimani forum and tells you to speak to them about it. The key person is the PURPLE/GOLD girl not standing up against the side walls, but you still have to talk to everyone here first! You also get an unexpected visitor, or maybe not so unexpected since he hinted he liked Cyber Sleuth Detective Comics the last time you saw him.

Since he will be able to offer you insight into the comic world, Arata offers to go along to help you out with this case.

She doesn't feel comfortable discussing it here, so you meet her outside of EDEN on the 3F by the Used Book Store. She tells you about a MANGA that was posted and deleted after people made fun of it. Those are the missing people. Find the artist; find the Hacker taking them! But don't leave just yet...

Look very closely! There is your Yellow-Headed Victory Uchida again! This time he gives you a Vigor Mushroom and a Creepymon Medal.

Back at the Agency Office, Arata has introduced himself to Kyoko as the Assistant's Assisstant. She commends you on finding such an exceptional apprentice all on your own. He says to meet him in Kowloon Lv.1 Galacta Park to track down the traces he found of the artist's data.

Ignore the elevator for now and go into the back section of this level. There is another of those locked Code Scan markers back here. Use the Square button to open the Hacker Skills and scan it. You are immediately attacked by a Wisemon. He tracks him to an Internet Cafe called Arahabaki in Akihabara when he flees. Once Arata runs ahead without you, go back to the elevator, go up and use this Exit to logout and follow him. It is quicker.

When you get there, a Digital wave hits Akihabara. You and Arata are thrown into it, and must navigate the paths by defeating Digimon at Blue markers throughout it to open up those areas marked with an Exclaimation point. Don't miss the loot boxes; there is a FarmExpansion PlugIn that will help you out. You meet up with Suedou again, and he is delighted you have shown up to test his theories once again.

At the back will be that Wisemon. Once you finish that battle, you will have to destroy another EATER that attacks immeadiately afterward. Then, all will return to normal again ejecting the kidnapped citizens onto the street where Officer Date mops up the mess.

You get 1,000 CSP and are prompted to save the game. New cases are added: Red Fists and Hot Sweat! and I'm Not a Flower Person. Plus, Kyoko tells you one of your friends is in the K-Cafe. Sometime during this brief pause you get called by Kyoko to say a say has been added to the board: Nakano Underground. The story continues only when you accept this last case.

The next time you visit your DigiFarm in the DigiLab, go down to Farm Expansion. You can upgrade each Farm to a star-shaped Rank 5.

You do a short Digital Space and a Lillymon for the Flower case. There are a half a dozen Gaomon in a short Digital Space once you Connect Jump the laptop in the K-Cafe for the Fists case. And Ryota is the friend in the Cafe...He sends down a case called Ryota's Youth. Don't forget the medal Maniac while you are here...

Ryota wants an easy job in EDEN, but you don't go there to ask employers about jobs. You leave the office and ask at Nakano Broadway. A Dodgy Realtor on 1F offers "room laundering", an Odd Laundromat-Owner offers "stuff pickled in formaldehyde" on the 3F, and the Occult Magazine Editor, same floor wants a 'shady' picture of 'ghosts in EDEN'. He accepts the last one "taking photos of ghosts". You Connect Jump into the Agency's TV and go to Kowloon Lv.3. People block every path, except one. A 'Cool Hacker' shoots down his optimism, and you decide to stage a picture for him to sell.

By now you should have access to the Digital Space 06 in your DigiLab's Mirror Dungeon. It has the Rookie forms of Armadillomon, Veemon, Gazimon, Goblimon and Dorumon.

Nakano Underground is a new Map location. You go through a short Digital Space to Hack the Door lock Mechanism (indicated by the Blue Digital glow on the panel by the door). This is the first time you will be required to use your Hacker Skill Copy and Paste. Once you use the portal past the DigiLab terminal, you will see a Yellow Marker. Use Copy and Paste on it to store the Colored Data for later. Go to the 'colorless base' on this same floor and use the skill again to Paste the Data onto it.

Exit this Digital Space to open the Nakano Underpass area...and the odd noises coming from it. Your Mirror Dungeon now grants you access to Digital Space 03 with the baby form of Botomon, the In-Training II form of Tokomon, and the Rookie forms of Tentomon, Lopmon and Terriermon.

You find a Digital Shift beyond the now open door. This one is semi-permanent even after the case is resolved, so it is a good spot to level up whenever you need to do so. Most of the Digimon are water-based.

Kyoko doesn't really let you explore it at this time. She jerks you back to the Agency in a hurry as it is Government Property. Head to the Map and out to the Tokyo Metro Bldg. Run in, go to the back wall, and Connect Jump into the PC Terminal. A short Digital Space takes you to an EATER. That wraps up the case. Kyoko hints there is something worth notice at Shibuya Records next.

Just enter the store and talk to the clerk. You have to accept the case at the Agency to do anything else, which continues the storyline. She gives you a keyword this time when you talk to the store clerk. The goal is the CD-Loving boy to the far right. He hands you a copy of the odd CD and lets you listen to it. That night you are yanked into a Digital Shift by an Etemon. He is so full of himself that the only answer to his question he will accept is that "Yeah," you are "big fans" and came here just to see him.

The loot boxes are a little difficult to spot here, so be sure to check for them on your minimap. You are required to give chase to him until it deadends at a DigiLab terminal. Here he will simply pace back and forth until you figure out a way to trap him. Chase him to the back, grab the loot box, and chase him again. It mentions you are never going to catch him like this. Run back to the Etemon and you see a glowing Blue spot on the wall. Check it out.

Run back up near the DigiLab Terminal. This puts the Etemon where you want him and shows you a second glowing Blue Digital spot on the wall. Use this one to Connect Jump behind the Etemon. Gotcha! It is a new Mirror Dungeon for your DigiLab: Digital Network X has the Rookie form of Elecmon and the Champion forms of Gekomon and Peckmon.

Once defeated, the store begins to sell his CD. A new case walks in the door.
